I am so sad to say that I haven't played PES in ages. I bought PES4 but were never able to play it because my ps2 crashed the same day. I have now gotten myself an xbox and decided to buy PES08 to have some fun playing football. Sadly the game was so much worse than I remembered. My players do everything I don't want them to do. Players leaving their man to defend leaving enormous fields playable for the other team. I am returning it as soon as I can, this game was utter crap. I thought soccer games had some sort of evolution to it, but it rather needs a huuuuuge revolution. Because this is not a good game.

Some questions:

When a ball is heading out the line for a throw in, why does everybody run after it? Maybe it's my throw in and I don't want my player touching the ball so I loose it? (and running so fast after the ball makes them tired, the stamina sucks on the players)

Why is one ball destined to one player? If other players run next to it they don't care, because one certain player is getting the ball. both fifa and pes has struggled with this for ages.

Why the bad techno music?

Why are the commentaries so late. I shoot, and miss. and then I hear: and he shoots!!

I wish somebody who is a beta tester actually told the makers all the flaws in the game. I won't buy the next one. Buying gears of was today!
